For customers with excellent credit, Capital One has put together a super low rate credit card called the SmartLine Platinum MasterCard. You will get an outstanding 5.99% rate on purchases and balance transfers for 3 years as long as you pay your bills on time. The rate even stays low after the 3 years is up! There is no rewards program with this card and there is no annual fee. You do have the option of adding a rewards program to the card for an annual fee of $99, but it is optional.
