Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

This is a Guest Post from Dealio.com.

As the holiday season is fast approaching many people have already begun their Christmas shopping, and millions of Americans will be out in the wee hours of Black Friday morning to battle the crowds and try to get the best possible deals. Of course everyone wants to save money, and the deals on Black Friday have always been very hard to beat on any other day of the year. What other day can you pick up a $1500 television for well under $1k? In the past there were not many days to find these types of deals besides Black Friday and special store sales, but since the internet has come along the Monday following Black Friday has become known as Cyber Monday. And even Canadians can take advantage of great Cyber Monday deals.

Cyber Monday is by far the biggest day for internet shoppers, and all of the shopping websites have amazing deals which are all easily comparable to any of the deals you will get on Black Friday, plus you don’t have to leave your house and deal with the long lines and mob scenes at your local malls and shopping centers. Some people say Black Friday puts them in the holiday spirit and that’s the reason they need to go out shopping besides all of the deals, but why not just take Cyber Monday off, put some Christmas music on and spend some time browsing the web for some of the many killer deals that can be found. Even if you do not live in the US it is still just as easy to get some great deals on Cyber Monday, all you need is a credit card and the time to look around for the best prices, there are even many sites that will help you find the best Cyber Monday coupons and deals which can save you quite a bit of time searching around on your own.

So when you think of that special day after (American) Thanksgiving just remember all the stress you will deal with - the crowds of people, bumper to bumper traffic, and long lines don’t have to be a part of your annual traditions anymore. Instead you can spend the holiday weekend relaxing and wait until Monday to do all of your holiday shopping right from the comfort of your own home. You will be able to find deals just as good as if you went out on Friday, but it is much more convenient, and chances are you will find an even better deal on your computer - which also gets delivered right to you. To me it is a no brainer, and if you are sill not convinced here is a little video to remind you what Black Friday is like at almost any shopping center and mall across the US.

Standing in a mile-long line, arguing with someone over the last stock on the shelf, squeezing myself in a super crowded mall… I really don’t mind. That’s what I love about Black Friday. :) Happy Christmas Shopping.
