When will a new balance transfer offer be provided to current holders of MBNA Platimum Plus?

If no special rate promotions are being offered, is it possible for me to cancel the Platinum Plus card and enrole for a different MBNA credit card that offers balance transfer promotions.

You can try calling MBNA to see if that is a possibility. However, many promo rates are for new customers only, or customers who have not had an account in some time frame, such as 3-6 months.

I have a large balance on my existing mc platinum card, and applied for a new card and a balance transfer to it so i could get  the zero rate for 10 months. They refused , saying that deal is only for people switching from other brands of credit card. Good luck, I'm still looking too!
