One of the best ways to earn maximum rewards is to change the way you buy things. For example, try putting all of your everyday expenses on the rewards card. The "trick" to making this work is to ONLY buy things you can afford and pay your bill off - in full - every month.

It's simple.  Use your rewards credit card for everyday purchases such as buying gas, groceries, newspaper subscriptions, recurring bill payments, and buying everything else.  I have five different credit cards with rewards on them from air miles, P C points towards free groceries, 2% cash back, Sears club points for free merchandise, Wal-mart rewards for free merchandise from Wal-mart, keep receipts of all of my daily expenses and pay off the balances in full every month on all of the credit cards.

You could also use one credit card per week, pay it off at the end of the week, use another credit card per week and pay it off the same way, and so on.  By using all of the cards it also helps keep the accounts active and even qualifying you for credit limit increases after a certain amount of time has passed say for example I got a credit limit increase on a new account because the account was active after a six month period.  Credit card companies I have dealt with allow credit limit increases every so many months.

As long as the credit cards are paid off in full at the end of the month you can't go wrong while avoiding the interest charges.

One person told me of a 2% cash back credit card that earned him as much as $657 at the end of the year because he paid off his credit card balance every month.  Hope this info helps.
